Devin and I recently moved into our first home together with very little furniture to fill up an entire house. Moving from a tiny studio apartment to a four bedroom home has been a huge upgrade. With our new home in Florida we loved the idea of doing a coastal bedroom theme with light and bright beachy colors. For the master I created a design board with our ideal furniture, decor and accessories. We tried to stick to the design board as much as possible while staying in our budget. We had to DIY a few things, leave a few things out and improvise with some stuff that we already had. But, I am super excited about our progress and I thought I would give you all an update!
Below is the design board that I created to give us a place to start. This is incredibly helpful when you’re out and about shopping and need something quick to refer to. I chose to stick to the coastal theme and use colors that were light and bright, with some blue accents. I also used some greenery to liven up the room and to add some texture.
