Travel Essentials

All work and no play?? Not me! Sure, I’m guilty of jam-packing my year with projects, but I ALWAYS make time for vacation to recharge and refresh! Whether it’s visiting family up in Wisconsin, or planning a little ski trip in Montana with my husband, it’s soo important for me to have work life balance and something to look forward to. With spring just around the corner, I thought now is a great time to share a few of my travel essentials!! What trips do you have planned this year??

Hue Carry-on Luggage from CALPAK: $195

Whether it’s a long weekend trip or even a whole week of travels, I can usually fit all my things in a carry-on.  I love the sleek, modern look of the Hue Collection from CALPAK. Their luggage comes with a TSA approved lock and has some nice interior dividers with accessory pockets that make packing easy, and honestly…fun!

Haven Laptop Tote Bag from CALPAK:  $178

I love a good tote bag. This one from CALPAK features a removable insert with multiple compartments.  It leaves plenty of room to carry all my essentials, and a removable laptop sleeve to keep my computer safe.  I’ve been searching for a durable tote bag for quite some time and I can finally say that I found the perfect one!

Stanley Iceflow Flip Straw 30 oz Tumbler from Scheels: $31.00

Unless you want to buy overpriced water at the airport, I suggest investing in a nice water bottle for your travels! I love this one from Stanley. The flip straw lid is leakproof and has an easy-to-carry handle, which makes this the perfect water bottle to have while you’re on the go.

Bose QuietComfort Headphones from BOSE: $279

I was a little hesitant to spend over $200 on some headphones, but after reading the reviews, I felt confident purchasing them. Let me tell you, these are soooo comfortable and perfect for travel. I love the noise canceling feature and the quality of sound is truly top notch.

When I travel, I like to have my driver’s license, money, and my phone handy. This mini belt bag is so cute and just perfect to throw over my shoulder to keep my essentials safe as I wander through the airport.

These leakage proof, silicone travel bottles are perfect to use for my shampoo, conditioner, and lotion/body wash. It also comes with labels and a clear container for easy storage.

FUNTOUCH Rechargeable Travel Makeup Vanity Mirror from Amazon: $21.99

This travel mirror is something I never thought I needed!  This tabletop LED folding cosmetic mirror offers 3 different light settings and barely takes up any room in my luggage.  Whether it’s applying makeup, putting in contacts, or trying to get something out of your teeth, this mirror is a must-have during any type of travel.

Philips One by Sonicare Battery Toothbrush from Amazon: $24.96

I have a Sonicare electric toothbrush for home use and I love it.  The fact that Sonicare offers this battery powered toothbrush, I knew I had to have it for my travels. I get the same fresh, clean feel after I use this battery-powered toothbrush that I do with my electric powered toothbrush at home.

Fresh Sugar Coconut hydrating Lip Balm from Amazon: $18.99

OUAI Hand Crème from Amazon: $35.40

I hate the feeling of dry lips and hands and for some reason, every time I travel I inevitably get chapped lips and rough hands.  I always have to travel with some lip moisturizer and hand lotion. This hand crème from OUAI and hydrating lip balm from fresh are my favorites for quick hydration!
