After our two month long kitchen renovation I was SO EXCITED to get everything back in the kitchen nice and organized. Once everything was back in it’s place, I was able to take inventory of the type of organizers that we needed. I had a bunch of great organizers to use from the last house (check out our massive pantry makeover here). This kitchen is a downsize from our last house so we had to get creative with storage solutions. Below you’ll find a tour of our new kitchen, links to all the kitchen organization products and a few tips on healthy/sustainable living.

Healthy & Sustainable Living
The kitchen organization products above help to keep our space organized and looking nice but more importantly, help us live a more healthy and sustainable life. We cut down on plastic bags by using the reusable grocery bags. We replaced our old, toxic plastic food storage containers with glass storage containers.
For me, these food storage containers make food prep more fun! When I get home from the grocery store I cut up all the fruits and veggies and store them in their proper containers. This helps them last longer – reducing food waste, and we’re more likely to eat them when they’re already cut, rinsed and easy to grab. There’s a LOT more that we can do to reduce waste and live more sustainably in the kitchen.. but this is a great place to start!
