1. Who we are

This Privacy Policy explains how Home With Stefani LLC (“Home With Stefani,” “we,” “us” or “our”) collects, uses and shares personal information.

It applies to:

  • our website, homewithstefani.com;
  • our course site, homediywithstefani.mykajabi.com, including the Home DIY With Stefani course (the “Course”);
  • our email newsletter; and
  • any other page or service that links to this policy (together, the “Services”).

It does not cover YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest or other platforms where we post content. Those platforms have their own privacy policies.

2. What we collect and why

Newsletter and free downloads. When you join the email list or request a freebie, we collect your name and email address. We use them to send what you asked for and our newsletter. We also track opens and clicks so we know which emails are useful. Our email provider is Flodesk.

Course purchases. When you buy the Course, we collect your name, email address, billing address and payment details. For a payment plan, we also keep your payment schedule. We use this to process your order, give you access and send receipts, payment reminders and course updates.

Card payments are handled by Kajabi and its payment processors, such as Stripe and PayPal. We never see or store your full card number.

Student accounts. Your Kajabi student account stores your login, the lessons you’ve completed and any certificate you earn. It also stores anything you post, such as lesson comments. We use this to run the Course, track your progress and help when you contact support.

Contact and support. When you email us, we keep your message and email address so we can reply.

Comments. When you comment on the blog, we collect the name, email address and comment you enter. We also collect your IP address and browser details to help block spam. Your email may be checked against Gravatar to show your profile picture next to your comment.

Analytics and cookies. Our sites use cookies and similar tools, including Google Analytics and Kajabi’s analytics. They record pages visited, device and browser type, general location based on IP address, and how you found us. We use this to see what content helps people and to improve the Services.

If we run ads, we may use advertising pixels from platforms such as Meta or Pinterest to measure them. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. You can also opt out of Google Analytics with Google’s opt-out browser add-on.

Embedded content. Our pages and lessons include embedded videos and posts from YouTube, Pinterest, Instagram and other sites. Viewing them works as if you visited that site directly, and those sites may collect data about you.

Affiliate links. Many tool and product links on our sites and in the Course, including the DIY Tool Catalogue, are affiliate links. If you click one, the retailer or affiliate network (for example, LTK or Amazon) may place a cookie to credit us for your purchase. We receive a commission, not your personal details. We may see summary reports, such as which products were bought.

3. Who we share it with

We share personal information only with service providers that help us run the business, and only as much as they need:

  • Kajabi: course hosting, student accounts, checkout and course emails
  • Payment processors such as Stripe and PayPal: payments and fraud prevention
  • Flodesk: newsletter and marketing emails
  • Our website host and WordPress plugins: running homewithstefani.com
  • Google Analytics and any ad platforms we use: measurement
  • Automation tools such as Zapier: moving buyer details from Kajabi into our email list
  • Accountants and legal advisors: bookkeeping, taxes and advice

We may also share information:

  • to comply with the law, a court order or a government request;
  • to enforce our Terms & Conditions or collect amounts owed;
  • to protect the safety, rights or property of our students, us or others; and
  • as part of a business sale, merger or transfer, where the new owner follows this policy.

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information.

4. How long we keep it

  • Newsletter: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.
  • Course purchases and payment records: as long as required for taxes and accounting, usually seven years.
  • Student accounts: for as long as the Course is offered, so you keep your access. Ask us any time to close your account.
  • Support emails and blog comments: as long as useful for replying or moderating, then deleted.
  • Analytics: under the retention settings of each analytics tool.

5. Your choices and rights

  • Unsubscribe from marketing emails any time using the link at the bottom of every email. You’ll still get emails about a purchase, such as receipts and payment reminders.
  • Update your details in your Kajabi account settings.
  • Access, correct or delete your information by emailing us. We’ll reply within 30 days. We may keep records the law requires, such as purchase records.
  • Cookies and ads: block or delete cookies in your browser, or use the opt-out tools that Google and ad platforms provide.

Depending on your state, you may have more rights. These can include knowing what we hold, getting a copy, correcting or deleting it, and opting out of targeted advertising. This applies to residents of states such as California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut and Texas. Email us to use these rights. You or an authorized agent can make a request, and we’ll verify your identity first. If we deny a request, you can appeal by replying to our decision. We won’t treat you differently for using your rights.

6. Children

The Services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. You must be 18 or older, or have a parent or guardian’s permission, to buy the Course. If you think a child has given us information, contact us and we’ll delete it.

7. Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, and we rely on established providers for payments and hosting. No system is completely secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security. Keep your Kajabi password private.

8. Visitors outside the United States

We’re based in the United States, and our providers store data in the U.S. If you use the Services from another country, your information will be transferred to and processed in the U.S.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the business or the law changes. The “Last Updated” date at the top shows the latest version. If we make a significant change, we’ll email students and subscribers or post a notice on the site.
