My number one passion is making my DIY visions and room renovations come to life, BUT I also love challenging my creativity with décor and interior design! I believe the small details you bring into a room can make a huge impact on how the space comes together. One design element that I spend a lot of time researching is finding the perfect area rug! An area rug can help tie in other décor items you may have and add an extra touch of comfort and personality. I’m sharing some area rugs that I love and have used in my room renovation projects! Unique Loom Sofia Collection Traditional Vintage Area Rug from Amazon: $184.60
I wanted to find a 9’ x12’ rug that would complement my new leather sofa in my living room makeover, but I didn’t want to break the bank (let’s face it, 9’x12’ rugs are $$$). So, you can imagine how thrilled I was when I came across this 9’ x 12’ rug on Amazon for under $200!! I bought this rug in the ivory/brown color and I. AM. IN. LOVE. Not only with the price, but this rug has just the right amount of distress, color, and pattern to tie in my furniture and other décor pieces I have in my living room.
Corum Abstract Area Rug in Black/Ivory from Wayfair: $41.99-$359.99

Calidia Oriental Area Rug in Beige/Cream from Wayfair: $69.99-$439.99
I gave my dining room a makeover and it’s all about the arches. I even DIY’ed a beautiful round, walnut table so naturally, I had to find a round area rug to complete this project. I found this perfect round area rug at Wayfair. It’s stain-resistant and non-shedding, which is great for any high foot traffic areas.
Zipped Tribal Aztec Geometric Grey Kilim-Style Rug from Well Woven: $303.88
I wanted to add a subtle color to my guest bedroom and this rug helped me achieve that. The color advertised is grey, but it actually has a nice blue/grey tone to the lines which I love! It matched very well with my nightstands and the grey/blue tones in the bedding. The pattern is so fun, and the fringe adds a little extra personality.
