I grew up a carpenterโs daughter
My Dad has been in construction for his whole life. As a little kiddo I would tag along with him to different job sites and help him with small projects. As I got older I would beg him to help me with my projects and I learned to love working with my hands.
I was in the Army National Guard for 6 years as a carpentry and masonry specialist
Growing up, I always knew that I wanted to join the military and serve my country. When I found out the Army had carpenters, I was amazed! I served for 6 years as a carpentry and masonry specialist and had the greatest experience building cool projects, traveling to new places and making lifelong friendships.
My BFF is a yellow lab named Tucker
Tucker and I love to adventure around the family farm, play in the river and run on the trail. Tucker stays home with my family in Wisconsin. But when I come home, he is the first one to greet me at the door.
I built a Tiny House!!
I went to college for project management and one of the graduation requirements was to manage a large project. I was fascinated with tiny houses and decided I would take on this (not so tiny) project. Check out my tiny house build HERE!
I am all about DIY
Once I learned how to use power tools and navigate home improvement stores, I became a fearless DIYer. I love building furniture and decor for our home. It’s such a great feeling to make these projects yourself and save money doing it!
