This master closet makeover was all about creating a beautiful, yet functional system that actually supports daily life. I’m a big believer that good organization isn’t about buying more — it’s about choosing the right pieces and using them intentionally.
Below is a complete list of the products, materials, and finishes I used throughout the build, along with a short note on why each one earned its place. Hopefully you can use it as a reference if you’re planning your own closet — whether you’re doing a full renovation or just refining what you already have.

Neat Method Blank Label Set (Bone): 🔗 https://bit.ly/4rzpBAf
Simple, clean labels that make it easy for everyone in the house to know where things go, and where they belong when it’s time to put them away. I love having blank labels on hand so systems can evolve. As our needs change, I can relabel bins without starting from scratch!

Every single thing in your drawer has a spot thanks to these compartmentalized cubes. Great for undergarments and smaller clothing items.
Hanging & Closet Basics
Space Saving Hangers

Uniform hangers instantly make a closet feel more intentional. These hangers from Neat Method are slim, strong, non slip and simple — great for everyday use without damaging clothing. Truly the perfect hanger.
IKEA Closet System
PAX Wardrobe (39 3/8″ x 22 7/8″ x 92 7/8″): 🔗 https://bit.ly/4bSv9ks
The foundation of the entire closet. PAX is incredibly customizable, budget-friendly, and adaptable as needs change over time — which is exactly what I look for in a long-term system. No matter your budget, the PAX system has customizations to fit it all. Go with the bare essentials or choose elevated options for a more high end look and feel.

IKEA Interior Components
Drawers
Ikea KOMPLEMENT: 🔗 https://bit.ly/3ZyFpac
Great for folded clothing, accessories, and everyday essentials. These drawers make it easy to keep things contained without stacking or overstuffing. I opted for the basic drawer fronts. Ikea has other decorative drawer fronts to choose from or even glass for an elevated look.
Dividers for IKEA Drawer
Pull Out Tray Inserts: 🔗 https://bit.ly/4sWcZVj
Tray Divider: 🔗 https://bit.ly/4qH8Hzt
Perfect for organizing smaller items like jewelry, belts, or sunglasses. These dividers add structure without adding bulk. A great way to keep frequently used accessories visible and easy to grab, especially during busy mornings.
IKEA Shelves
Basic Shelves: 🔗 https://bit.ly/4bS9R6s
Glass Shelves: 🔗 https://bit.ly/4sWegM1
A simple, clean shelf option that blends seamlessly into the system and adds flexibility for storage. I also love using glass shelves to keep the closet feeling light and open. They’re ideal for displaying shoes, bags, or folded items without visually closing in the space.

Shoe Fences
Rockler Shoe Fences (Matte Nickel): 🔗 https://rocklercompaniesinc.pxf.io/6y2K5b
These were a game changer for angled shoe storage. They keep shoes secure, evenly spaced, and easy to see — while still feeling polished and custom.
Drawer Hardware
Amazon Drawer Pulls 🔗: https://bit.ly/45B2jkR
I’ve used these extra long drawer pulls for multiple projects. They’re elegant and timeless and best of all, they don’t break the bank. Comes in multiple finishes.
Finishes & Decor
Paint Color: Carriage Red – Benjamin Moore
A deep, rich red that adds warmth and character without overpowering the space. This color is part of Benjamin Moore’s Historic Williamsburg collection and also happens to be the same color as our front door.
Light Fixture (Anthropologie)
Lee Brass 16″ Ruched Printed Semi-Flush Mount Light: 🔗 https://bit.ly/4jWg4Ak
This fixture adds a soft, elevated touch and makes the closet feel finished — good lighting is just as important as good storage.
Ruggable Rug (Anthropologie)
Olivia Cream Rug: 🔗 https://bit.ly/4t5KODm
A washable rug that adds texture and warmth underfoot while still being practical for a high-traffic space like a closet. I love the way this rug pulls the deep red from the closet and the design pairs well with the light fixture.
