I LOVE this mudcloth runner designed by one of my favorite home interior designers, Leanne Ford. This runner is a simple design, yet will add extra texture to your tablescape. This runner can easily be used anytime of the year and for any occasion, which makes it a perfect staple piece for your dining room table décor.

Adding some greenery is a great way to bring some dimension and depth to your holiday tablescape. I love this faux cypress garland for my centerpiece as it provides such a bold presence with its full, feathery fronds and vibrant green hue!
Artesia Honey Woven Rattan Round Placemat: $14.95
Placemats provide both design and functionality to your tablescape. You want to be able to enjoy your time with family and friends, without the stress of little spills/drops of food or drinks getting onto your dining room table. These beautifully designed woven placemats will help bring an organic, natural feel to your tablescape while keeping your dining room table clear of any messes or stains!
Picking the right placemat for your table:
- Consider the shape of your dining room table. For a circular dining room table (like I have), I find that a circular or wedge-shaped placemat works best! Of course, you can use a rectangular placemat on a circular table, but just know you might be overlapping some corners, which may clutter the table.
- Keep in mind, the size of your dining room table and how many people you are planning on seating. You can shop around for the perfect-sized placemat that is scaled to your specific table size.
- Space them evenly! The extra time to ensure each placemat is evenly placed, is well worth it!! If possible, keep a couple inches between each placemat to give your guests some room. No one wants to eat dinner while bangin’ elbows!
